EARLY BIRD RENEWALS NOW BEING ACCEPTED

The Legion's Early Bird Campaign is on until November 30th..

Renew early and save $5.00 off your 2026 membership dues. If you are on auto renewal, you can still take advantage of the Early Bird discount by renewing your membership at the Branch before October 30th, otherwise, Dominion Command will process your dues in November 2025.

MEMBERSHIP CARDS & RENEWAL STICKERS:

For members that have opted to receive a "physical nembership card", and have yet to receive it ., we nave a number of cards waiting to be picked up at the bar.

With membership renewals upon us, members with physical membership card will receive a renewal sticker to be adhered to the back of their card. Once your renewal has been processed, your renewal sticker will be available for pick up at the bar. For all members who chose a "digital card", you will receive an email from Dominion command when your payment is processed with a link to download your digital card to your cell phone.

Volunteers Needed

We are looking for some amazing people to lend a hand in the kitchen on Friday & Saturday nights, as well as some friendly, reliable volunteers to join our bar team.  

Your help is essential in keeping our branch running smoothly for our veterans and community members. No experience is necessary, and only a few hours a month will make a big difference!   

Without volunteers, we won’t exist! Let’s keep the good food and good times going at the Legion!

Remembrance Day

The Remembrance Day Ceremony will commence at 10:30 at the Cenotaph at Town Hall - 30 Lewis St, Wasaga Beach.

Reception will immediately follow at the legion.

We still need volunteers in various capacities. Please email 645volunteer@gmail.com if you would like to help us make this Remembrance Day one to remember.

Financial Assistance Available

The Royal Canadian Legion offers financial help to current and former Canadian Armed Forces members, RCMP , and their families in need. Grants can cover essentials like food, heating, clothing, medications, medical equipment, home repairs, and emergence shelter. We also provide comforts to hospitalized Veterans and surviving spouses. While long-term assistance isn't possible, support can be given multiple times as needed.

Can I host private events at your venue?
Yes, you can host private events at our venue. We provide a unique space with professional service and customizable options for your gathering.

How can I join the Legion?

Can anyone join the Legion?

Yes, Legion membership is open to any Canadian citizen or citizen of an Allied nation who is 18 years of age or older. There are 3 membership options, see which one fits you:

    Ordinary membership

    Includes still serving and retired military, reservists, RCMP, police officers, Canadian Coast Guard, and others listed in the General By-Laws.

     

    Associate membership

    Includes parents, spouses, widows, widowers, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews of a person who is or was eligible for Ordinary membership.

     

    Affiliate voting membership

    Includes Canadian citizens or Commonwealth subjects from an Allied nation who are not eligible for Ordinary or Associate membership.

    How can I volunteer?

    You can volunteer in any of our activities and services. Your time, as little or as large as you can spare, is very valuable to us. You can choose where you would like to help, wether in the kitchen, bar, cleaning or helping in organizing activities and/or sports.

    Do I have to be a Member to enter the Legion?

    No, everyone is welcome to the Legion, young and old, Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
